This web site contains a description of a few of the projects that occupy some of my spare time. As is the case in many of these types of endeavors the ideas for invention come from the free exchange of knowledge, experience with others as well as that old standard, necessity.

There is not much that is original here. However you may find some technologies that already exist but are being put to use in a unique way.

I hope to be able to document these projects here as they transpire. In this manner I hope to also document the process of discovery and the bumps along the way.

Project Abstracts

Remote Controller Buttons

In this project two buttons are added to a wireless Xbox 360 controller. The buttons will work in parallel with the original circuits to relocate thumb stick "click" actions.

The RCM (Remote Console Manager)

Describes a method for remotely controlling an Xbox 360 console that is setup as a Dedicated Server. A combination of electromechanical relay, modified Xbox 360 Controller, a networked PC are used with custom-designed software to enable it all.

Due to the complexity, time involved and the number of failures along the way this project description is quite long!

Get on your bike and take your tunes with you. This project involves mounting my favorite MP3 player, the Apple Shuffle II^© to a cycling helmet.
